The first omen's plot is dampened by typical prequel issues such as predictability, convolution, and absurdity. A decently executed prequel pales next to superior ‘immaculate’.
One does not even need to have seen the omen to enjoy it: The omen (1976), a classic film about a family unknowingly fostering the antichrist, has been through that a lot.
Thankfully, Arkasha Stevenson Does A Great Job And Turns The First Omen (2024) Into An Interesting And Unsettling Prequel.
